“From the mouth of the Missouri to that of the river Platte, a distance of more than six hundred miles, the land is generally of a good quality, with a sufficient quantity of timber; in many places very rich, and the country pleasant and beautiful” (Moulton, vol. 10, p. 94). -of Expidition

Going-to-the-Sun Road

Dear Alice,

Yesterday we traveled from the east side of Glaciaer NP to the west side.  We've had lots of rain & wind,  so it's time to move.

The route is the Going-to the Sun Road, and it filled with waterfalls, streams, and snow--and tunnels.

Toward the end of the drive we stopped and talked to the driver of this typical tour bus.  Its a 1937 White Bus refurbished by Ford in 2001.

I miss you.  Love,
Ethan :)
